Eversince Community Guidelines
Version pilot-v0 · Effective 23 October 2026
The short version: be generous, be honest, keep it private.
Eversince is a place for honest recommendations from people who actually use the things they talk about. It’s built for women and centered on women’s taste. It’s open to anyone who’s vouched in and shares that mission. These Guidelines apply to everyone equally, in every circle and in both cities.
G1. Be kind and specific
“It pilled under my SPF” helps. “This brand is trash” doesn’t.
Disagree with ideas, not people.
No pile-ons. If a post bothers you, report it or tell us. Don’t start a thread about the person.
G2. Be honest
Post only about things you’ve actually used, and only your own experience.
Proof is yours to keep true. “Using since”, “still using”, “bought again” and “finished one” are your own words. We check the timing, not your purchases, and we never call proof “verified”. Please don’t log proof that isn’t real.
“Not for me” is a respected answer here. Honest misses help everyone.
No fakes:
no AI-written or ghost-written reviews posted as your own experience;
no second accounts;
no posting for a brand while pretending to be an ordinary member.
G3. No affiliate links, no selling
Never post affiliate or commission links, codes that earn you something, or shortened links. Our link filter will stop them. Paste the plain product page instead.
Don’t sell products, services or invites here.
No pitches and no MLM recruiting.
G4. Say when a brand is involved
When to tell us. You got it free, you were paid, you work for or with the brand, you own it, or someone close to you does. We’ll ask the first time you mention a brand.
What happens next. We add a small label: “Free product from [Brand]”, “Works with [Brand]” or “Ad”. It stays while the connection lasts.
Gifted doesn’t mean unwelcome. Gifts are fine to talk about. They just don’t count as repurchases, and they’re kept out of the numbers.
Honest negative reviews are always welcome. No one, brands included, can make you change one.
G5. We review things, not people
Talk about: products, brands, and the public work of founders and creators.
Don’t:
review, rate or rank private individuals;
share rumors about anyone;
post about someone in a way meant to shame them.
G6. What’s said in a circle stays in the circle
Don’t share members’ posts, names or details outside Eversince without their permission. That includes screenshots.
Don’t out anyone. Never share someone’s sexuality, gender identity, health or other private information.
Don’t speculate about anyone’s gender. We don’t verify anyone’s gender, and members don’t either. If someone’s behavior is the problem, report the behavior.
G7. Health-adjacent topics: share experiences, not prescriptions
Private by default. Some topics are private unless you choose to share them. That covers fertility, pregnancy, menopause, sexual wellness, mental health, religion, sexuality and gender identity. It also covers health-adjacent beauty: prescription skincare, hair loss, period care, supplements, and GLP-1 or weight-loss products.
We ask before saving. We ask your permission before saving any of these to your profile, and we never use them for brands.
Discussing these topics is welcome. Promoting harmful practices is not.
Don’t share someone else’s health details.
| Welcome | Not allowed |
|---|---|
| “My derm prescribed tretinoin. Here’s how I built up without peeling” | Telling people how to get prescription medicines without a prescription |
| “I’m on a prescribed GLP-1 and my skin got really dry. What helped you?” | Dosing advice for grey-market or “research” GLP-1s, or where to buy them |
| “This peel was too strong for me. Here’s what happened” | Instructions for mixing or applying DIY high-strength acid peels at home |
| “I’m looking for a gentle brightening serum for dark spots” | Promoting or sourcing skin-lighteners containing mercury, or other products that are unsafe or illegal |
| “I stopped a product because it broke me out” | Telling someone to stop a medication their doctor prescribed |
| “I’ve had a hard relationship with food and I’m in recovery. This community helps” | Encouraging extreme restriction, calorie targets as goals, “thinspiration”, or tips for hiding not eating |
| “I’ve had a rough month” | Content that encourages or glamorizes hopelessness, self-harm or suicide |
G8. Bodies aren’t up for comment
Don’t comment on someone’s body, face, skin or weight unless they’ve asked for feedback on a specific look.
Don’t shame or mock body types or physical features. That includes size, skin conditions, hair, scars and aging, whether you’re talking about members or anyone else.
G9. Content that isn’t allowed anywhere on Eversince
These rules apply to everyone, in both cities. We remove this content, and we act against the account that posted it. Zero-tolerance items (✦) lead to removal from Eversince, and where the law requires, a report to the authorities.

✦ = removal from Eversince on the first offense. Hate, outing, deliberate impersonation and ban evasion can also lead to removal on the first offense.
G10. Vouch with care
When you vouch for someone, you’re saying three things:
I know this person;
they’re 18 or over;
I think they’ll look after this place.
Only vouch for people you know personally. Never sell, trade or post your invite publicly.
Your vouch record is private, and accountability is graduated. We never punish you automatically for someone else’s choices. If someone you vouched for is removed for serious harm within their first 90 days:
we’ll send you a private, non-judgmental note;
your vouching pauses for 60 days;
your own account isn’t affected unless you knew about it or took part.
A second time, we review your vouching with you.
Knowingly vouching for someone under 18, or for someone who has been removed, is a serious breach.
Coordinated fake-account rings are the one exception. When we confirm one, we may remove the whole ring.
G11. Be yourself, once
You must be 18 or older.
You may have one account.
Pseudonyms are fine. Impersonation isn’t.
No scraping, bots or automated accounts.
G12. How to report
In the app. Tap Report on any post, reply or member, and pick the closest reason (see the list below). You can add a note. The person you report won’t know it was you.
Without an account. Use https://app.fannotebook.com/report.
Intimate images. Use https://app.fannotebook.com/takedown, the Report button, or safety@fannotebook.com. Your report should say:
that you’re the person shown, or that you’re acting for them;
that you believe in good faith the image was shared without consent;
where the content is;
how to reach you;
and include your name as a signature.
Anything else: email safety@fannotebook.com.
The report reasons:
Someone may be in danger:
Threat, violence or extremism;
Someone may hurt themselves.
Sexual content or harassment:
Sexual harassment or unwanted sexual content;
Intimate image shared without consent;
Sexual content involving someone under 18;
Sexually explicit content.
Harassment, bullying or hate:
Harassment or bullying;
Hate or abuse about who someone is;
Shaming bodies or appearance.
Private information:
Someone’s personal details shared;
Outing someone, or sharing their private information.
Harmful health or beauty content:
Promotes suicide, self-harm, eating disorders or despair;
Dangerous substances, treatments or challenges.
Not honest:
Fake review or false proof;
Hidden brand tie, paid post or affiliate link;
Reviewing or rating a private person;
Pretending to be someone else.
Spam, scams or illegal goods:
Spam, selling or MLM;
Scams, fraud or illegal goods.
This person may be under 18.
Something else.
G13. What happens after you report
A person reads every report. We’re a small team during the pilot, so here’s exactly what to expect:
| Kind of report | When a person looks at it | What happens |
|---|---|---|
| Serious (threats, sexual harassment, intimate images, doxxing, child safety, or someone at risk of hurting themselves) | They go to the front of the queue: as soon as we can in staffed hours, 8am to midnight your local time, every day, and within 24 hours at most | Reports of threats, sexual harassment, intimate images, child safety or doxxing: we hide the content straight away. Then we act: removal, a ban, and a report to the authorities where the law requires one |
| Intimate images shared without consent | Hidden when reported | Removed within 48 hours at most, day or night, including copies we can find |
| Everything else | Within 24 hours | We decide and act. Most cases are resolved within a few days |
We’ll let you know what we did, as far as we can without sharing someone else’s private information.
If we act on your content, we’ll tell you which rule it broke and how to appeal. You have 14 days to appeal. Someone who wasn’t involved in the first decision will look at it where possible, and we aim to decide within 7 days.
If someone is at risk of hurting themselves, we respond with care, not punishment. We may reach out privately with support. We don’t counsel, and we can’t promise confidentiality when someone’s life may be at risk.
If you or someone else is in danger right now. Eversince is not an emergency service. Please contact:
| US | UK | |
|---|---|---|
| Emergency | Call 911 | Call 999 |
| Thinking about suicide or self-harm | Call or text 988. Or text HOME to 741741 (Crisis Text Line) | Samaritans: call 116 123, free, day or night |
| Intimate images shared without consent | StopNCII.org (it can help stop images spreading on participating platforms) | StopNCII.org; Revenge Porn Helpline: call 0345 6000 459, Monday to Friday, 10am to 4pm |
G14. If we act on your content or account
We start with the lightest step that fixes the problem. In order: a friendly note, removing the content, a short restriction (for example, no posting or vouching for 7 days), removal from a circle, a 7–30-day suspension, and removal from Eversince.
Serious harm skips the ladder. Zero-tolerance items (G9 ✦) lead to removal the first time.
Strikes are private and expire after 180 days.
People who were targeted are never penalized for what was done to them, or for reporting it.
G15. These Guidelines will grow
The pilot is text only, online only, and has no private messages.
Before we add photos, messages or in-person events, we’ll add the rules for them. That includes: no photos or video of other members without their consent.
We’ll tell you before any change.
