Eversince Terms of Service (pilot)
Version pilot-v0 · Effective 23 October 2026
These Terms are the agreement between you and us about using Eversince. We’ve tried to write them in plain language. Please read them. If anything is unclear, write to safety@fannotebook.com.
If you live in the UK, the UK Addendum at /terms/uk is part of these Terms, and it wins wherever it says something different.
T1. Who we are
Eversince is run by MONK AI L.L.C-FZ, a company registered in the Meydan Free Zone, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Its licence number is 2541890.01 and its address is Meydan Grandstand, 6th floor, Meydan Road, Nad Al Sheba, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. “Eversince” is the name of our project and service. In these Terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean MONK AI L.L.C-FZ.
We plan to move Eversince into its own company. We expect to set up a separate company, affiliated with us and owned by the same founders, to run Eversince. It is likely to be a US corporation. When that happens, we may transfer to it:
these Terms;
your account;
the licence you give us over your content;
the personal data we hold about you.
What that means for you:
That company will then provide Eversince to you under these Terms.
We’ll tell you in the app at least 30 days before the transfer.
The transfer won’t reduce your rights under these Terms.
If you’d rather not continue, you can delete your account before it happens.
Our Privacy Notice explains what happens to your data.
Contact: safety@fannotebook.com.
T2. What the pilot is
Eversince is a private, vouched community for honest recommendations. It’s about the products, brands, founders, books and places members actually use and love, and the people they discover them with. It is built for women and centered on women’s taste, and it’s open to anyone who is vouched in and shares that mission (see T4).
This is a pilot. It is planned to run until 11 December 2026, with circles in Boston and London. We may extend it, change it, pause it or end it. Features will change as we learn.
The pilot is free. We don’t sell you anything.
What the pilot includes: your Shelf and Loves, proof you log about the things you use, circle conversations, reporting and blocking.
What it doesn’t include:
private messages (there are none);
uploading photos or images (posts are text only);
in-person events;
brand pages.
Some things are recorded but not shown yet. For example, your fan number for a Thing is saved but not displayed during the pilot.
When the pilot ends, we plan to carry your account, Shelf and fan dates into the next version of Eversince. We’ll ask you to accept updated terms at that point. If you don’t want to continue, you can ask for a copy of your data and delete your account.
T3. Who can join
You can use Eversince only if all of the following are true:
You are 18 or older. You confirm this when you join. If we learn or reasonably believe that someone is under 18, we close their account (see G11).
Someone vouched for you, or the founders invited you directly as a Founding Member.
You agree to our mission and our Community Guidelines.
You live in the United States or the United Kingdom. Eversince isn’t offered in the EU, the EEA or Australia yet.
You haven’t been removed from Eversince before, unless we’ve told you in writing that you can come back.
You have only one account.
What a vouch is. A vouch is a personal invitation from a member. It says: “I know this person, and I think they’ll look after this place.”
It’s tied to the phone number it was sent for. It can’t be passed on, sold or traded.
Members send invites themselves. Eversince never texts or emails people who aren’t members. The only message we send you is a one-time code, and only after you start signing up yourself.
After your first two weeks, you can vouch for a small number of people yourself. In the pilot, that’s two.
Your vouch record stays private. The rules are in G10 of the Community Guidelines.
T4. Our mission, open membership and nondiscrimination
Our mission. Eversince exists so that the recommendations people trust are remembered, credited and shared. It’s a private, vouched, ad-free, member-first community built for women and centered on women’s taste.
Membership is open to anyone vouched in who shares the mission. We don’t ask about, consider or verify anyone’s gender. We never ask for ID documents or selfies.
Membership decisions rest on three things:
an invitation;
agreement with the mission;
conduct.
We may decline or end a membership because of conduct that breaks our Guidelines. We never do it because of who someone is.
Nondiscrimination. We do not discriminate in admission, membership, prices, programs or features on the basis of:
sex, gender, gender identity or expression, or sexual orientation;
gender reassignment, marriage or civil partnership, or pregnancy and maternity;
race, color, ethnicity, ancestry, national origin, citizenship, immigration status or primary language;
religion or belief;
disability, medical condition or genetic information;
military or veteran status;
age, subject to our 18+ requirement;
any other characteristic protected by law where you live.
Prices, features and benefits are the same for every member.
Adjustments. If you need an adjustment to use Eversince because of a disability, tell us at safety@fannotebook.com. We’ll work with you, at no cost to you.
If you think we’ve fallen short, write to safety@fannotebook.com. We’ll respond within 10 business days. We won’t treat you any worse for raising a concern.
T5. Your account
Your phone number. You sign up with a phone number and a one-time code. It keeps one person to one account. Only our team can see it. Other members can’t.
Your display name. You choose it. A pseudonym is fine; you never have to show your full legal name.
It must not impersonate anyone or mislead people about who you are.
It must not be hateful or sexual.
You can change it once every 30 days. Our team can see previous names.
Your profile never links to other platforms unless you add the link yourself. Links you add are checked by our link filter (T9).
Keep your account to yourself. Don’t share it, sell it or let anyone else use it. If you think someone else has got into it, tell us straight away at safety@fannotebook.com.
Who vouched for you (your “lineage”).
Our team can always see it, for safety.
Other members see it only if both you and the person who vouched for you choose to show it.
Your first two weeks are a settling-in period. During it, you can’t vouch for anyone.
T6. The Community Guidelines are part of these Terms
Our Community Guidelines (/guidelines) set out what’s welcome and what isn’t. They apply to everyone equally, in every circle and in both cities. Breaking them is breaking these Terms.
T7. Your content
You own what you post. That includes your posts, replies, notes, Shelf, Loves and the proof you log (“your content”).
You give us a licence to use it to run Eversince. This is a worldwide, royalty-free licence, and it doesn’t stop you letting anyone else use your content too. It lets us:
host, store and back up your content;
display it to the people you’ve chosen to share it with, for example your circle;
format it;
moderate it;
count it in aggregate figures, such as how many members still use a product at 90 days.
Health-related items are never counted in public figures (T11).
The licence moves with Eversince. It passes to the affiliated successor company described in T1.
What the licence does not allow:
We don’t sell your content.
We don’t use it in advertising.
We don’t let brands use it without your permission.
We don’t let AI providers train their models on it.
When the licence ends. It ends when you delete the content or your account, except that:
copies can remain in backups for a short time;
we keep what the law or a safety case requires us to keep;
other members’ replies to you stay, with your post removed.
Things you add to the catalog stay. When you add a product or brand, for example by pasting a link, its name, brand and link become part of the shared catalog. They stay after you leave, without your name.
Responsibility. You’re responsible for what you post. Post only what you have the right to post.
Feedback. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without owing you anything.
T8. How we use AI
In the pilot, we don’t use AI tools on anything you share. When you add a product from a link, a person on our team checks the listing.
If that changes, we’ll update these Terms and our Privacy Notice first. Our commitments stay the same:
AI never decides to remove your content or your account. People make those decisions.
AI never publishes anything about you without your OK.
Any AI provider that processes member content must do so under no-training, zero-retention terms, or we don’t send it.
There are no private messages in the pilot, so there’s nothing of that kind for any AI to see.
T9. Honesty rules
Honesty is the point of Eversince. By using it, you agree to the following:
Post only about things you have actually used, and only your own experience. Don’t post fake reviews. Don’t post AI-written or ghost-written reviews as your own experience. Don’t create accounts that pretend to be someone else.
Proof is self-reported. When you log “using since”, “still using”, “bought again” or “finished one”, that’s your own statement. Keep it true.
We check the timing, not your purchases.
We never describe proof as “verified”.
Logging false proof counts as a fake review.
No affiliate links, ever. Member posts, Shelves, lists and profiles never carry:
affiliate or commission links;
referral or discount codes that earn you something;
shortened links that hide where they go.
Our link filter blocks or strips these automatically. Paste the plain product page instead.
Say when a brand is involved. Tell us if you have a connection to a brand you post about. That covers getting something free, being paid, working for the brand or its agency, owning it, or a close family tie. We add a label, and it stays on while the connection lasts. The labels are:
“Ad”: content a brand paid for or controls, including anything a brand or its founder posts for the brand;
“Free product from [Brand]”: you got the product free from the brand;
“Works with [Brand]”: you work for or with the brand or its agency, you own it, or you have a close family tie to it;
“Eversince team”: posts written by our team.
Free products never count as repurchases. Posts about them are kept out of public counts.
We never pay or reward anyone for writing reviews, and we never reward positive ones. Any badge or status you earn on Eversince has no cash value and can’t be transferred.
Honest reviews are protected.
Nothing in these Terms stops you posting an honest review, of Eversince or anything else, anywhere.
No one, including a brand, can make you change or delete an honest review here.
We don’t remove content because it’s negative.
Our team doesn’t pretend to be members. When the founders or our team post, their posts carry the “Eversince team” label.
T10. We review things, not people
Talk about: products, brands, and the public work of founders and creators.
Don’t: review, rate or rank private individuals, or spread rumors about them.
T11. Health-adjacent topics
Some topics are private by default. They include:
fertility, pregnancy, menopause, sexual wellness, mental health, religion, sexuality and gender identity;
health-adjacent beauty: prescription and medical skincare, hair loss, period care, supplements, and GLP-1 or weight-loss products.
We ask your explicit permission before we save any of these to your profile.
Only you see them unless you choose to share them.
We never use them for brands, advertising or public scores.
The Privacy Notice has the details.
Nothing on Eversince is medical advice. Members share their own experiences. Talk to a doctor, pharmacist or dermatologist before starting, stopping or changing any treatment. Patch-test new products.
T12. Things you must not do
Besides everything in the Community Guidelines, don’t:
break the law, or help anyone else break it, using Eversince;
scrape, copy or harvest content or member information, including by bots or automated tools;
try to access accounts, data or systems that aren’t yours;
probe or test our security without our written permission (report vulnerabilities to safety@fannotebook.com);
interfere with Eversince or overload it;
get around a block, a restriction or a removal, including by opening a new account;
sell, trade or advertise invites or vouches;
use Eversince to advertise, sell or recruit (including MLM).
T13. How we keep members safe, and how we moderate
How we keep members safe from illegal and harmful content:
admission is by vouch only;
one account per phone number;
posts are text only;
there are no private messages;
there’s no endless algorithmic feed;
circles are small and city-based;
every member can report and block.
People review every report. We can hide or remove content, restrict accounts, and remove members.
How quickly:
Kind of report Time to a person looking at it Serious reports (threats, sexual harassment, intimate images, doxxing, child safety) They go to the front of the queue: a person looks at them as soon as we can in staffed hours, 8am to midnight your local time (Boston or London), every day, and within 24 hours at most Intimate images shared without consent Hidden when reported. Removed within 48 hours at most, whatever the time of day Everything else Within 24 hours Eversince is not an emergency service. If you or someone else is in danger, call 911 (US) or 999 (UK).
Proactive technology. In the pilot we don’t use automated tools to find or judge content, or to profile members, for moderation. The one automated check is the link filter. During the pilot it refuses links in posts, replies and report notes; products are linked only through a product’s own link field, which is checked. It doesn’t read or judge what you write. If we ever add automated moderation tools, we’ll update these Terms before switching them on, and explain what they do.
Blocking. You can block anyone. They won’t be told. They won’t see your posts or your Shelf, and you won’t see theirs.
Our commitments when we act on your content or account:
we tell you what we did;
we tell you which rule it broke;
we tell you how to appeal (T14).
People who report harm, or who are targeted by it, are never penalized for reporting.
T14. Enforcement and appeals
What we can do, depending on how serious the problem is:
a friendly note or a warning;
removing content;
a temporary restriction, for example no posting or vouching for 7 days;
removal from a circle;
a suspension of 7 to 30 days;
removal from Eversince.
Some things lead to removal the first time: sharing intimate images without consent, sexual content involving anyone under 18, credible threats, doxxing or stalking, and sexual harassment. Hate, deliberate impersonation and evading a ban can too.
Strikes are private and expire after 180 days.
Appeals:
You can appeal any decision about your content or account within 14 days. Use the link in our notice, or write to safety@fannotebook.com.
Someone who wasn’t involved in the first decision reviews it where possible; in the pilot, that’s the other founder.
We aim to decide within 7 days, and we’ll tell you the outcome and why.
If we got it wrong, we restore your content and clear the strike.
Each decision can be appealed once.
Exceptions:
Confirmed child sexual abuse material is never restored.
Intimate images stay down while an appeal is pending.
Ban evasion can’t be appealed.
T15. Intimate images and child safety
Intimate images shared without consent. Anyone can report these, including people who aren’t members, at https://app.fannotebook.com/takedown or by email to safety@fannotebook.com. That covers images, links to images, AI-generated fakes and threats to share.
We hide the content as soon as we get the report.
We remove it within 48 hours at most, along with copies we can find.
What a report needs is in G12.
Child sexual abuse and exploitation.
We remove it.
We ban the account.
We report it to the US National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).
We keep the evidence as the law requires.
UK-linked material is also covered by the UK reporting duty (UK Addendum U7).
T16. Copyright
Only post what you have the right to post.
If you believe content on Eversince infringes your copyright, send a notice to us at safety@fannotebook.com. The notice must include:
your signature;
the work you say is infringed;
the content and where it is;
your contact details;
a statement that you believe in good faith the use isn’t authorized;
a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner.
If your content is removed and you believe that was a mistake, you can send a counter-notice.
We remove members who repeatedly infringe.
T17. Privacy
Our Privacy Notice (/privacy) explains what we collect, why, and your rights. It’s a separate document.
What we never collect:
ID documents or selfies;
your date of birth. We check that you’re 18 or over and don’t keep your birth month or year;
your contact book;
your precise location;
third-party advertising trackers.
T18. Leaving, and deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time in Settings, or by writing to safety@fannotebook.com.
What happens when you delete:
Your account is switched off straight away.
Your data is permanently deleted after 30 days (up to 3 days sooner if the one-month legal deadline comes first). You can change your mind during that time.
Your posts are deleted with your account. You can choose instead to leave them up under “former member”.
Fan dates and fan numbers are deleted, and your numbers are never given to anyone else.
What we may keep for longer, as set out in the Privacy Notice:
records the law requires;
records of safety cases;
an unreadable (hashed) form of your phone number, if you were removed for breaking the rules;
your consent records, in a form that no longer names you;
a sealed copy of only the records concerned, if the law or a legal claim requires us to keep them (a legal hold). The rest of your account is still deleted on schedule.
Deleted data is gone from our rolling backups within about 35 more days.
You can ask for a copy of your data before you go. Write to safety@fannotebook.com.
T19. When we can suspend or end your membership
We may suspend or end your membership if:
you break these Terms or the Guidelines (T14);
we need to, to protect members or other people;
the law requires it;
we stop offering Eversince.
Notice. Except where safety, the law or an investigation makes it inappropriate, we’ll tell you why, and how to appeal.
If we end the pilot or close Eversince, we’ll give you at least 30 days’ notice where we can, and a way to get a copy of your data.
T20. Other services
Some live sessions may take place on another service, such as a video-call tool. That service’s own terms and privacy policy apply there.
We’ll always ask before recording.
Links to other websites are there for convenience. We’re not responsible for other sites.
T21. Our responsibility to you (disclaimers)
Eversince is a pilot. We work hard to keep it running, safe and accurate. But we provide it “as is”. We can’t promise that it will always be available or free of errors.
Member content is members’ own opinion and experience. It isn’t ours, and we don’t check it before it appears. We don’t endorse any product, brand or treatment mentioned on Eversince.
Products are the responsibility of the brands that make and sell them. Read labels, check ingredients and patch-test. Talk to a professional about anything medical.
Nothing in these Terms takes away rights you have under the law where you live that can’t be taken away by agreement.
T22. Limits on our liability
What we aren’t responsible for. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t responsible for:
loss that wasn’t reasonably foreseeable;
business losses (lost profits or business opportunity). Eversince is for personal use;
what other members or other people do or post.
The cap. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for anything related to Eversince is limited to US$100 (£100 in the UK). The pilot is free.
What these limits never cover. They don’t limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn’t allow us to limit.
UK members: see also UK Addendum U11.
T23. Disagreements, and which law applies
Talk to us first. If you have a problem, write to safety@fannotebook.com and tell us what’s wrong and what you’d like us to do. We’ll try to sort it out within 30 days.
Governing law and courts.
If you live in the UK: these Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring a claim in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring it in the courts where you live.
If you live in the US: these Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and applicable US federal law. Claims go to the state or federal courts in Suffolk County, Massachusetts. Either of us can use small-claims court where it’s available.
No arbitration. These Terms don’t require arbitration, and they don’t waive your right to join a class or collective action.
T24. Changes to these Terms
Notice. We’ll tell you in the app, and by email if you’ve given us one, at least 14 days before a material change takes effect. The exception is a change needed sooner for legal or safety reasons; in that case we’ll tell you as soon as we can.
Accepting. We’ll ask you to accept material changes. If you don’t agree, you can delete your account before they take effect.
History. Earlier versions are available on request at safety@fannotebook.com.
T25. The rest
Transfers.
You can’t transfer your account or these Terms to anyone else.
We may transfer them to the affiliated successor company (T1), or as part of a reorganization, merger or sale of the Eversince business. If we do, we’ll tell you first, and your rights won’t be reduced.
Whole agreement. These Terms, the UK Addendum (if you’re in the UK), the Community Guidelines and the Privacy Notice are the whole agreement between us about Eversince.
Severability. If a court decides part of these Terms can’t be enforced, the rest still applies.
No waiver. If we don’t enforce a term straight away, we can still enforce it later.
Third parties. No one else has rights under these Terms.
Parental controls. Eversince is only for adults. If you look after a child, parental control tools (hardware, software and filtering services) are available from many providers and can help limit a child’s access to online content.
Language. These Terms are written in English.
